2018 Stewards

David Lauzon

David started with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in March 2014, but has been with the Government of Ontario for 25 years. He continues to enjoy his role as the GOHCBC administrator.  This is David’s 4th year as a competition steward and he’s thrilled to be a part of the team.

Madé Quay

Madé worked as a summer student with OMAFRA for 4 years before starting her role as the Technology Transfer Specialist in 2015. This is Madé’s third year as a steward. Madé is partial to wheat beer, but she likes to try all different styles and is looking forward to serving (and tasting!) this year’s entries.

Cora Loucks

Cora Loucks started her role as the plant health surveillance coordinator and data analyst for OMAFRA earlier this year. She felt it was ale in a day’s work to serve as a first time steward. Cora can barley wait to serve this year’s style to the judges and has high hops for the 2018 competition!
