David started with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs in March 2014, but has been with the Government of Ontario for 25 years. He continues to enjoy his role as GOHCBC administrator. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the event and he’s excited to see things unfold with almost twice as many judges and competitors. This is David’s 2nd year as a competition steward and he’s thrilled to be a part of the team.
Hannah has been working with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs as the provincial entomologist for horticulture since 2000. She likes bugs and beer, just not (usually) together. This is her third year as a competition steward and she is looking forward to delivering this year’s style – American Amber Ale – to the thirsty judges.
Madé worked as a summer student with OMAFRA for 4 years before starting her role as the Technology Transfer Specialist in 2015. This is Madé’s second year as a steward. Madé is partial to wheat beer, but she likes to try all different styles and is looking forward to serving (and tasting!) this year’s entries.
